This long-established event attracts more and more visitors and is an action-packed day for the children. On this day, all the focus is on the farm, where the animals and vehicles are ready for a busy day.
The horses, calves, pigs, kids, rabbits and the rest of the animals all look forward to this day. If we’re lucky, maybe the baby chicks will be hatching in the barn too. If they have already hatched, then you can come inside and hold one of the little yellow feather balls if you want to. Our good friend Jens Peder will bring out the horse-drawn buggy and drive around the track. You can ride the Little Grey Fergie and our old lorry too, so just find a place in the queue and go on as many rides as you like.
At the entrance to the farm, we have a kiosk set up where we grill sausages and sell soft drinks, coffee and some other bits a bites. If you would like ice cream or other food, you will find it for sale at the Tourist Information Office and the Barrelmaker’s Inn. The event is free of charge.
